Pillars and Tongues getting busy this weekend in Chicago

Today (Saturday)… maybe even right now, Pillars and Tongues wil be playing at Reckless Records with This Is Cinema and Houtakker. They are there to celebrate the release of a new cassette compilation titled Chicago (Two Syllable Records) featuring some of our favorite Chicago musicians including the two above, Angel Olsen, and many more. Pillars & Tongues on Tour with Joan of Arc

Pillars and Tongues is on tour… again! This will be their fourth tour since the release of Lay of Pilgrim Park last year (fifth if you count Mark’s recent solo jaunt in France). They are joining Joan of Arc – with whom they frequently collaborate – as they traverse much of the eastern united states, and will be performing as four piece for several of the dates, accompanied by Ben from This is Cinema. It will be lush!
